The Michigan Daily

The Daily’s first e-mail newsletter ad

By Gary Graca, written on Jan. 12, 2009

Welcome back to the Editor’s Page after a long period of neglect by former Editor in Chief Andrew Grossman and Managing Editor Gabe Nelson. The Daily’s new class of editors took over last week, and over the next year, I intend to use this blog as a way to tell everyone about both the dramatic changes occurring at the Daily and the more mundane day-to-day issues with which this paper deals. Hopefully on a daily basis, but at least every few days, myself or another Daily editor will update the blog for the world to enjoy.

Fitting this theme, the Daily took another baby step into the digital age today.

For the first time, an advertisement appeared on the Daily’s e-mail edition today. Albeit a small change, the new advertisement should be the first of many online advertising changes that occurs in the next year. Keep a lookout for those.

In the meantime, you can sign up for the Daily’s e-mail newsletters here.
